Meet Erica R. Gilbert, D.M.D.
Dr. Erica Gilbert was born and raised in a suburb of Boston, MA and remained in the Boston area for her education. She is a third generation dentist as both her father and grandfather were dentists. She attended Tufts University and graduated with a bachelor of science in chemistry. She then continued her education at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. After dental school, she completed her post-doctoral training in pediatric dentistry at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Gilbert has always loved working with children. Her experience at Boston Children’s Hospital has cemented this sentiment and given her the skill and confidence to treat children of all ages and backgrounds.
Dr. Gilbert met her husband her first year of dental school. He is a Chicago native and convinced her to leave her beloved city of Boston for the great city of Chicago. She is very excited to explore all that Chicago has to offer, including all of the great restaurants. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and friends, as well as, cooking and staying active. She loves dogs, especially her golden doodle Logan!
Dr. Gilbert is a Board Certified pediatric dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Her Memberships include The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society.
