Meet Thomas E. Resnick, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Thomas Resnick received his undergraduate and D.D.S. degrees from the University of Illinois. After serving two years as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force Dental Corp, Dr. Resnick returned to the University of Illinois where he earned a Certificate and a Master of Science Degree in Pediatric Dentistry.  Dr. Resnick  is currently on the staff of NorthShore University Hospitals and is Emeritus at the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. He holds the rank of Senior Lecturer at University of Chicago Medical School and  teaches in the General Practice Residency Program at Evanston Hospital. He has been a speaker at local and national dental meetings. Dr. Resnick is a contributing author for the medical textbook, Pediatrics, second edition. He is also a consultant for American Dental Examiners and was named the top pediatric dentist in the Chicago area in Chicago magazine’s only survey in November 2009. He has been named a “Top Doc” from 2008 – 2017. In Chicago Consumers’ Checkbook, 2017 he was again listed as the pediatric dentist most often referred to by other dentists.

Dr. Thomas Resnick and his wife, Barbara, have two sons, three grandsons, and two granddaughters. He enjoys biking, traveling and playing golf in his free time. He is interested in all sports and balances the Chicago baseball interest in the office by being a life long White Sox fan.

Professional organizations include the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and the Illinois Pediatric Dental Society where he served as a board member.
